The Hound

Ledi (a.k.a. The Sausage) is a 13-year old whippet. He was born in Jedburgh and lived happily on an estate in Northumberland for a couple of years, before deciding he needed to get out from under the paws of a rather over-zealous spaniel and relocating to Scotland.

Although he’s a champion snoozer, he loves a good excursion and is particularly keen on views, beaches and snow. Water, not so much. A gentle and sensitive soul with oodles of love to give, he has human and canine friends all over the UK.
The Owner

Sarah is a freelance writer and editor and lives with Ledi in the beautiful village of Kippen, just on the edge of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

A former estate agent and television presenter, Sarah has lived and worked in England, Italy and France but returned to her childhood home of Stirlingshire in 2014 - and doesn't plan on leaving.
When she's not whipping copy into shape or 'excursing' with Ledi, she can be found waitressing in the village farm shop, scratching her thespian itch with the local drama club...or at home, in her pyjamas, with a good old glass of wine and a box set. And a whippet, of course ;)
